Hon. Seyi Jakande, Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has launched a free school bus initiative to connect with local schools and promote education.

On Monday, September 15, despite the rainy weather, Hon. Jakande embarked on a journey to visit several schools, welcoming students aboard the bus and fostering a sense of community spirit.

Investigator news reports that the schools visited by the Chairman and members of his entourage include Local Government Primary School Zone 5,Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Primary School Zone,Muslim Mission and Shokunbi Primary School.

Others are Shokunbi Street Zone 4,St. Paul, Shyllon,and Ajenifuja Primary Schools Zone 6 and they were received by the pupils.

Hon. Jakande engaged with the children,conversing with them about their holiday experiences and emphasizing the importance of education for shaping their futures and joined them in a lively rendition of their school song, embodying unity and joy.

Investigator news gathered that throughout his visits, the friendly chairman highlighted the critical role of elementary education, showcasing his steadfast commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for young people.

His presence served as a beacon of encouragement, signaling a new chapter in fostering an environment that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and emotional well-being among students.

Hon. Jakande took the time to connect with both students and teachers, carefully noting how many had received their educational packages as part of his new Back-to-School initiative.

He instructed those who had not yet received theirs to bring a photocopy of their parents’ or guardians’ Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) or Continuous Voter’s Registration (CVR) slip for collection.

Accompanying the Chairman on this heartwarming tour were several esteemed delegates, including Vice Chairman Hon. Gbeminiyi Awodogan, Mr. Taiwo Ogungbe, Hon. Ibrahim Ipaye, Hon. Yusuf Godo, Hon. Adeosun Haruna, Hon. Taiwo Shodipe (Alakan), Hon. Bode Adeosun, Hon. Lukman Akiniyi, and Hon. Adisa Rahmon.
