Nollywood stars such as Yul Edochie, Femi Adebayo, and others have praised industry veteran Olu Jacobs ahead of his 80th birthday.
Olu Jacobs, who will turn 80 on July 11, 2022, is a seasoned actor who has appeared in numerous Nigerian and British drama series and movies.
Joke Silva, his actress wife and fellow veteran, hinted at his 80th birthday celebration on her Instagram page when she shared a throwback photo of her husband.
On Monday, she captioned the photo, “Who knows who this handsome young man is?” “80th birthday loading.”
The image was reposted on the aged actor’s Instagram page.
Following her post, several Nollywood stars congratulated Jacobs on their social media pages.
“When I started my acting career in 2005, one of my biggest wishes was to be on set with the Legendary Uncle Olu Jacobs,” Edochie wrote. I finally got that chance several times, and I learned a lot from him. And I will be eternally grateful.
