Nigerian Cultural Diplomacy Shines In Canada As Ogbueshi Allanah Champions Igbo Heritage.

In a landmark celebration of heritage and identity,Ogbueshi Allanah Chinedu Sydney, Group Chairman of Allanah Associates Nigeria Limited has championed Nigerian cultural diplomacy in Canada at the Igbo Heritage Showcase, with the theme “Exploring the Cultures of Canada – The Igbo Tribe, Nigeria (West Africa).”
The event held on Saturday 7th June at La Cabane en Bois, Gatineau, Quebec,brought together Africans in the diaspora,Canadian dignitaries,and multicultural enthusiasts in a colorful festival of Igbo culture that featured music, fashion, traditional foods, and storytelling.
In his keynote address, Ogbueshi Allanah emphasized the event’s role in building a cultural bridge between generations and communities, promoting understanding and connection.
He described culture as a force for identity, healing, resistance, and legacy, highlighting its power in shaping African narratives abroad.

“Culture tells our story and inspires our future,” Ogbueshi Allanah remarked.
“To the African diaspora in Canada: you are cultural ambassadors. Carry your heritage with pride. It is not a burden,it is a gift.”
Today’s event is not only more than a celebration but also a cultural bridge linking generations and communities.
“It promotes understanding,connection, and well-being,” he stated.
