NGO To Empower 200 Ejigbo Youths, Women ln Entrepreneur Skills Development.

A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Blessed Gumpat Foundation in collaboration with Edsea Business School an affiliate of West Midlands Open University has revealed plans to train and equipped over 200 youths and women in Ejigbo community with entrepreneurial skills for employability.
Speaking at the event at Ejigbo Council Secretariat, Lagos on Monday 17, March 2025,the Executive Director of the Foundation,Dr Prisca Timpaul said the foundation was targeting over 200 youths and women that will be trained and be self employed in order to reduce poverty and menace that has destroyed the life of so many youths.

BGF in collaboration with Edsea Business School an affiliate of West Midlands Open University is to train and equip youths and women with vocational skills for improved livelihoods and productivity toward reducing poverty and unemployment in Nigeria.
Dr Prisca explained that the two weeks free skills acquisitions training for youths and women is to reach out to youths and women with skills to be self evident and to gain direct entry 200 level Bsc with West Midlands Open University.
She went further to state that the Foundation drives influence positively and it is making sure that every young man is an entrepreneur and making money with it.
Investigator news reports that the participants will engage themselves in bead making,cake making,makeup and Gele, photography,bag making,fascinator and auto Gele , liquid soap,shoe making and sharwama.
“The Blessed Gumpat Foundation is designed to ensure participants develop market-ready, employable skills and creativity,therefore,l urge the beneficiaries to make the most out of the opportunity presented to them by Blessed Gumpat Foundation to become self-employed.”she stated.
She advised the youths and women to acquire the skills, build up passionately so that they can be boss of their own.
” There is power in your hands, using it positively will earn them long life and more money and using it negatively will cut short their lives”

“I also want to urge them to embrace christ,in whatever they do”she said
Earlier in her welcome address,Dr Timpaul Prisca urged the participants to take advantage of the skills they had acquired as it was a rare opportunity that should be cherished, noting that the training was free but charged the participants to approach it as though it was being paid for.
“Never think that you are not enough to be self reliant or to be great in life, push and you will win.l hope and pray that this will be the beginning of greater things to come,”she submitted.
One of the participants ,Mr Joshua Okonkwo expressed appreciation for having the opportunity to take part in the skills acquisition programme.
He commended the organisers and prayed for continuity to enable other people benefit from this training.
