Ndigbo Buru Otu Splashes Members With Gifts Worth Millions Of Naira ln Raffle Draw, Celebrates End of The Year Party ln Grand Style.

Members of Ndigbo Buru Otu Association of Nigeria on Saturday December 7,2024 went home beaming with smiles as members who participated won items including: a fridge, television, generator, washing machine, gas cookers, fan, gold watches, bags of rice, cartons of noodles, and other mouthwatering prizes via a fair raffle draw.
The event which was in commemoration with the annual end of the year party took place at the association secretariat as this year’s gathering was more rewarding for members and invitees who got gift of cash, food items, electronic gadgets and various consolation prices.
The Ndi Igbo Buruotu Association of Nigeria made this year’s event more remarkable for it’s many achievement in the last 9 years of existence, supporting the less privileged, widows, and widowers financially.
The Founder and President General of the association,Eze Dr Chika C. Nwokedi stated that the association which is aimed at funding for the welfare of the members,including loans for businesses and emergencies and support,funds for the less privileged, widows, and widowers.
Eze Nwokedi who is the Chairman Council of Ndieze lagos state and the Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun and ljedodo Community opined that loans given to members are without collateral or commission with a favorable repayment period, noting that the association holds its members in high esteem.
“The association only has its secretariat in Lagos but has members in the diaspora,the privileges of being a member include financial benefits given to next of kin in the situation of the death of a member, assistance in resolving law enforcement issues not fraudulent ones,payment of hospital bills for a needy member, and the less privileged, who are nonmembers but solicit support”he stated.
Speaking on the end of year party and raffle draw,Eze Nwokedi who is known for his versatility and leadership sagacity told newsmen that raffle draw is very significant during the association’s end-of-year program and is done fairly.
“At first, the raffle draw was not appreciated initially by members because of last year’s inclusion of non members, but this year, members showed more interest and went home with good prizes ranging from high-end home appliances to other gift items.,noting that the essence of the raffle draw was a way of giving back to the society “he submitted.
Investigator news reports that the president of the Association, Eze Chika Nwokedi,presented a cash gift of N40,000 to widow and widowers members of the association to support their financial needs for the yuletide season.
The Chairman committee of the raffle draw, Chief Martin Okezie noted that the raffle draw was masterminded by the association to appreciate the members, enable fair participation and wins, and promote the association positively before the public.
Mr Chukwuebuka Nwagu who won a deep freezer expressed surprised and gratitude to God almighty,stating that the gift came to him as a surprised as he never believed that he would win, affirming that the raffle draw wasn’t partial, the pick was done randomly, appreciate Eze Chika for his service to humanity.
Another winner,Mr Onyekachi Okonkwo who won 14inches Television opined that this year is his year as this is the first time he is winning such gift, while thanking God for the success of the event.
Other winners include Somtochukwu Samuel Nwokedi (won a generator set), Abundant Nwokedi (won a bag of rice), Bishop Moses Okwuosa, Chinonso Emmanuel, Chukwuebuka Nwagu, Eze C.C. Nwokedi,,Chika Onyebuchi and others with over 50 items won.
Other activities of the end of the year event was the enthronement of the new queen of the association for 2024/2025 goes to Chika Onyegbuchi, a newly confirmed member of the association.

The highly elated queen went further to advise members of the association to continually show kindness to people so as to enhance positive reviews of what the association stands for as she promises to deliver on her newly assumed duty.
The association also crowned the king of the youths of the association (Eze Ndiokorobia)which goes to Mr Oliver who will champion the course of giving a facelift of good representation both monetarily, morally and physically.
Highlight of the event was cutting of cake for December celebrants who are members of the association and dance by the celebrants together with their friends and well wishers.
