In a show of strategic coordination ahead of its landmark event, the leadership of the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), CP Adewale Saka Ajao, at the FCT Police Command Headquarters, Abuja.
The high-level engagement was aimed at strengthening ties and ensuring a peaceful atmosphere ahead of NASFAT’s forthcoming History Book Launch.
Leading the delegation was NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, FCS, accompanied by Dr. Nasir Mustapha Raji (Zonal Chairman, Abuja), Mr. Adeshina Adiatu (Zonal Secretary) and Engr Wahab Adebayo (Zonal Welfare Secretary). The team extended heartfelt appreciation to the Police Command for its continued role in securing lives and property across the territory.
The visit was centered around the official invitation to CP Ajao to grace the unveiling of NASFAT’s historic publication.
The book, which chronicles the Society’s evolution and national impact, is scheduled for launch on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 (Inshaa Allah) at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua International Conference Center, Abuja. The event promises to be a celebration of faith, leadership, and legacy.
Alhaji AbdulRauf underscored NASFAT’s commitment to peaceful coexistence, civic responsibility, and inter-agency cooperation.
He noted that the Society’s spiritual and social initiatives have always been anchored on values that promote order, knowledge, and community development.
In his response, CP Ajao expressed admiration for NASFAT’s legacy of moral leadership and its non-violent engagement model.
He welcomed the invitation, offered assurances of support for the event, and emphasized the importance of faith-based organizations in national cohesion and security.
