The National Executive Council of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), led by the President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf has initiated transformative discussions with the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
The meeting which included prominent stakeholders such as the General Manager of NASFAT Agency for Zakat and Sadaqat (NAZAS) and the Chairman of NASFAT’s 30th Anniversary Committee,focuses on fostering impactful collaborations.
Investigator news reports that the discussion was centered on the introduction of the ICAN NASFAT ATS Program,which is aimed at equipping members with essential accounting skills.
NASFAT also explored partnerships with Fountain University’s Accounting Department to enhance academic and professional integration for students pursuing careers in accounting.
The President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf went further to opined that the organisation has plans for co-hosting NASFAT Business Breakfast Events and Economic Summits with ICAN, stating that the collaboration is aimed at creating platforms for robust dialogue on economic and financial matters.
He noted that a potential ICAN NASFAT Chapter is under way,signalling a closer professional bond between both organizations.
Alhaji AbdulRauf stated that other initiatives include the establishment of an ICAN Examination Center at Fountain University, Osogbo, and Ramadan sessions featuring Chartered Accountants to educate members on financial stewardship as invitations to NASFAT’s 30th Anniversary celebrations, including the launch of the NASFAT History Book, were extended to ICAN representatives.
Investigator news gathered that NASFAT proposed quarterly career talks on accounting during Asalatu and youth tours to ICAN Secretariats to inspire future accountants.
These initiatives underscore NASFAT’s commitment to human capital development and fostering youth excellence.
