The Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Haj. Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim,has congratulated Prof. Aisha Sani Maikudu on her well-deserved appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja.
ln a press release signed by her Special Assistant on Media and Publicity,Mr Jonathan Eze ,Hon lmaan stated that Prof. Maikudu’s remarkable achievements and dedication to education makes her an exemplary role model for women and girls in Nigeria, stating that her rise through the ranks, from Lecturer II to Professor of International Law, is a testament to her hard work and perseverance.
“As the first female Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, pioneer Director of the University of Abuja International Centre, and now Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Maikudu has consistently broken barriers and paved the way for future generations of women leaders.”she stated
The Minister went further to commend Prof. Maikudu’s commitment to academic excellence, her contributions to the field of International Law, and her tireless efforts to promote education and empowerment for women and girls.
