In a spectacle of jubilation and festivity, Mecvilla Garden Hotel, Ejigbo Lagos made a resounding relaunch on the art of hospitality as it celebrates its one year anniversary on Saturday 23, November 2024,and is making waves in the industry.
The event, graced by esteemed personalities including traditional rulers, dignitaries from all walks of life to celebrate with the hospitality guru,Eze Dr Sunday Alex Nwoye as Royal Family Entertainment took the center stage to entertain the audience,adding a touch of glamour to the occasion.
Eze Dr Alex Sunday who is the Eze Ndigbo and Babaselu of Ejigbo local Development Council Area,the visionary CEO of Aceland Hotels and Mecvilla Executive Garden Hotel delivered an impassioned opening speech, articulating his mission that Mecvilla Executive Garden is not a new name in Ejigbo, stating that Mecvilla’s return is remodeled to suit customers needs and has top-notch services.
Speaking to Newsmen,Eze Dr Nwoye noted that the Mecvilla Executive Garden Hotel offers different kinds of dishes which include local, African and continental.it also offers choice drinks including local palm wine, brandy, Whiskey,with the rooms well furnished and 24 hours power supply guaranteed.
He reaffirmed the hotel’s commitment to delivering hospitable unparalleled quality. Assuring prospective customers of classical comfort. He recalled that few years ago,the hotel was demolished by the Lagos Task Force when it was located at Mechanic Village.
“Our services include good food, affordable lodging, an event center, drinks of all sorts, entertainment, and dinner. More also, we have a professional chef and qualified staffs who undergo training to give the best services to customers.”
“Today, I am handing over this place to my son. He went further to appeal to Nigerians leaders to create more employment opportunities for the unemployed Nigerian youths, stating that it will reduced the rate of cultism,drug abuse and other social vices and embrace fruitful ventures.
Eze Dr Nwoye noted that as a leader, he’s committed to enhancing the youths by creating employment for them and should be emulated by other leaders.
Lending her voice,the wife of Eze Dr Alex Nwoye, Chief Mrs Chika Nwoye, opined that in the next 5 years to come, Mecvilla Executive Garden hotel will be competing with 5-star hotels as Mecvilla Executive Garden offers comfortability, 24-hour electricity, local and international dishes, and many more services to meet the needs of customers.
The new Managing Director,Mr Uchenna Nwoye stated that since he took over in the last 3 months he has changed certain things for growth and development, noting that with his expertise as a professional chef tends to stamp Mecvilla’s Garden presence in the community and let the people know that they can get the best services needed.

Mr Uchenna went further to exray some of the challenges hospitality businesses face, which include shortages of electricity and bad road networks, but noted that Mecvilla Executive Garden hotel in its capacity, is making sure that none of those factors deter customers’ interest in patronizing the hotel.
Speaking to Investigator news, Chief C.F.C.Obi, President General United Market Traders Association of Nigeria commended Eze Dr Nwoye for coming up with such feats in the hospitality business.
Chief Obi who was the former chairman Ladipo market traders association opined that Mecvilla Gardens is a place to be as the local and continental dishes is second to none and an escape route from the chaos of life.
” Eze Nwoye has done marvelously well,he is doing a lot for Lagos state and Nigerians at large by reducing the rate of unemployment among our teeming youths.Mecvilla hotel is a place to be and l know that within a short period of time,it will be a tourist area and as President Traders Association of Nigeria will be part of this hotel. I also want to appeal to the management not to relent on their words in terms of the quality of food they have promised to their customers.
