As the 2025 Local Government Election approaches, political activities are gaining momentum so as to build support behind the candidacy of Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT)the APC Chairmanship Candidate of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

In a significant display of backing, key education stakeholders, comprising primary school teachers, School-Based Management Committees (SBMC), and Parents-Teachers Forum (PTF) members, recently converged in Oshodi to unanimously endorse TAT’s leadership vision, solidifying support for his candidacy.

The gathering which drew notable dignitaries and political stalwarts, reflected the widespread confidence in TAT’s capability to drive progressive development in Ejigbo LCDA.

Investigator news reports that among the prominent attendees were APC Chairman, Alhaji Kasumu; party chieftain,Hon Mrs Oluwayemisi Otuyemi , Hon Kazeem Idowu and Onadeko Taiwo Olanrewaju.

In his opening address, Hon. Alakija commended the overwhelming show of solidarity and highlighted the importance of unity and continuity.

He encouraged the education community and other stakeholders to expand their grassroots mobilization efforts and hinted at a forthcoming mega rally that will further amplify support for TAT’s candidacy.

Alhaji Kasumu, the APC Chairman, extolled the leadership qualities of Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, describing him as a transformational figure capable of repositioning Ejigbo LCDA for inclusive growth and community development.

Representing the candidate, Hon. Oluwayemisi Otuyemi delivered a passionate call to action, urging residents to prepare their voter cards and encouraging new voters to complete their registration to ensure active participation in the democratic process.

In a moment of candor, Hon. Babatunde Abdulazeez—Special Adviser on Job and Wealth Creation shared his personal journey, having once been an aspirant for the chairmanship position.

He affirmed his full and unwavering support for TAT and emphasized the strategic importance of educators, particularly headteachers, in influencing public perception and electoral outcomes.

Abdulazeez described the campaign as a synergy of experience and youthful innovation, aligning perfectly with TAT’s vision for progressive governance.

Calling for unity, Hon. Dejo Oluwaseun, APC Ward Chairman for Oke-Afa, appealed to all aggrieved members of the party to set aside their differences and rally behind the chosen candidate for the collective progress of Ejigbo LCDA.
