The outgoing administration of Hon. Gbenu Henugbe Joseph, Executive Chairman of Badagry West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), is set to host a grand Valedictory Ceremony and Commissioning of Completed Projects on Thursday, 24th July 2025, at the Council Secretariat, Kankon.
This milestone event will highlight the administration’s achievements in infrastructural development and responsive governance.

Investigator news reports that the Gbenu administration is setting a benchmark by ensuring that projects are not just initiated but completed and functional before the handover.
According to reports the administration will unveil multiple completed projects, including:a newly constructed Primary Health Centre in Bapom,the Boglo Way Solar Streetlights Project,the Sito Gbethrome Secondary School renovation,the Apa Community Cemetery,the Customary Court in Kankon and the newly built Administrative Office Complex
Zosu went further to note that the event will begin with an official project tour at 10:00 AM, allowing stakeholders and residents to witness the tangible impacts of the Gbenu administration.
The ceremony serves as a public accountability exercise, allowing citizens to assess the administration’s deliverables.
