LASIEC Present Certificate Of Return To Hon Taoheed Taiwo ,His Vice Chairman And Other Council Chairmen.

The Newly Elected Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area,Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, alongside his Vice Chairman and other Councilors has officially received his Certificate of Return to the office of Chairman from the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).
The ceremony, held at LASIEC Headquarters, Sabo, Yaba was not only a validation of the people’s mandate, but also a gathering of unity, as Aare Taiwo was joined by other victorious Chairmen across all 57 LGAs and LCDAs in Lagos State, celebrating a new dawn of leadership.
Investigator news reports that the presentation was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was postponed till today due to the public holiday declared by the federal government in honour of late 
te President Muhammad Buhari.
The ceremony was witnessed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State Exco-led by Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi; his predecessor and Chairman APC Canpaign Council, Alhaji Babatunde Balogun; Party Secretary Adeola Jokomba; Women’s Leader Jumoke Okoya-Thomas and host of others.
Justice Bola Okikiolu – Ighile (rtd.), Chairman of LASIEC officially declared the election results on Sunday from the LASIEC secretariat.
Across the state, APC won the available 57 Chairmen seats and 375 out of the 376 Councilorship seats in Lagos State.
In her remarks at the presentation, Chairman of LASIEC, said with the presentation of certificates of return to the newly elected council chairmen, vice chairmen and councillors, the Commission affirmed the mandates given to them by the electorates.
She described the event as a hallmark of democratic culture, culminating in the actualisation of months of resilient strategic planning, civil participation, and institutional efforts.
Addressing newsmen after receiving his Certificate of return,Aare Taiwo thanked the people of Ejigbo for giving him their mandate to lead them,as he promised to consolidate on the effort of the incumbent chairman,Hon Monsurudeen Bello, provide more infrastructure, improve more on the health care sector,road networks, youth and women empowerment.
Taoheed went further to reassure the people of Ejigbo that he would deliver and ensure that the residents of Ejigbo LCDA would feel the impact of the party Hon. Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, He emphazed that the journey ahead would focus on elevating the standards of governance, rebuilding public trust, and delivering tangible dividends of democracy to every household in Ejigbo.
Investigator news reports that the Vice Chairman elect,Hon Abimbola Nicholas Ike and all the Six Councilors from the wards also received their Certificate of return.
