The Lagos Street Soccer competition organized by the State Government through the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroot Sports Development,Hon Atewogboye Adebanji is gaining momentum as it enters the quarterfinals stage with Osho Street dominating Alimi Oke Street with a 5-1 win, advancing in the Semi finals.
This thrilling match showcases the skills and teamwork of the participating teams, highlighting the initiative’s potential to nurture young talents and promote community engagement in Lagos State.
Investigator news reports that this thrilling match is part of the larger Lagos Street Soccer Stars Initiative, launched by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu to promote grassroots sports development, which provides a platform for young talents to shine, and reduce crime and social vices among youths. 
The initiative has been well-received, with thousands of spectators witnessing the electrifying kickoff and high-class football displays by the youths.
