Lagos LGA Poll: Ifoshi LP Councilorship Aspirant, Comrade Onyema Promises To Empower Constituents.

Comrade Evang. Onyema Nduka,the councillorship aspirant under the Labour Party (LP) ticket for Ifoshi Ward, Ejigbo LCDA has pledged to give priority to youth empowerment, promoting economic growth by supporting traders and creating a conducive environment for the traders under his ward if elected councillor in the July 12,2025 Lagos LGA Chairmanship/Councilorship election.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Onyema who stated this on Sunday 4,May 2025,during his declaration for the seat position as Councilor representing Ifoshi ward,promising to be accountable, accessible and responsive to the needs of the people for the development of the council.

The Councilorship hopeful said that he would give access to quality healthcare as he intends to achieve this by constant medical outreaches that can help people have access to quality health care and limit casualty risk that comes with lack of health care services because of poverty.

“We all know that the future belongs to the youths who are innovative and industrious, they are also the bedrock for development if empowered.

“I will empower the youths to realize their full potentials and that will be one of my key priorities if given the mandate,

“I want to also state that if given the opportunity to serve, I will be accountable and responsive to the problems confronting the people in my area of jurisdiction.”he said

According to him, making the youth self-reliant, resourceful, industrious and creative is one of the agenda of what I’m going to do if elected; hence I would always welcome ideas that would give the desired leverage.

Comrade Onyema who is known for doggedness and is willing to put in the hard work and dedication to achieve his objectives noted that he would support children who are out of school by generating back to school relief materials to them so that they can access quality education which is paramount to our growth as a community.

” My heart skips when I see children who are out of school because of poverty, education is the right of every child regardless of class, gender, race or ethnicity and I would by Gods grace support children by generating back to school relief materials to them so that they can access quality education which is paramount to our growth as a community.”he submitted.

Going philosophical, Comr.Onyema emphasized that he has never failed in any project in the time past and quickly added that this councillorship project will not be an exception.

He, therefore, appealed to the party faithful to support him in this project by voting for him, pointing out that as a faithful member of LP, he has made a lot of sacrifices to ensure the progress and development of the party.

In the same vein, the councillorship position contender called on his people to support his cause as he is pregnant with a lot of programmes.

“I have been a proud resident of Ifoshi Ward for over 15 years, my journey has been marked by resilience, determination, and a commitment to serving others.”

I pledge to work tirelessly to address the challenges facing our ward, to listen to your concerns, and to collaborate with stakeholders to find solutions. I promise to be a servant-leader, dedicated to the people of Ifoshi Ward.”

“Together, we can build a brighter future for Ifoshi Ward. Let’s join hands to create a ward that is prosperous, safe, and full of opportunities for all. I ask for your support, your vote, and your trust”he asserted.

Speaking to the press, the State Woman leader for Obi for betterment Nigeria, Comrade lady Emeh have taken cognizance of Onyema’s humane character, technicalities in civil management, philanthropy, love for humanity, selfless service, sincerity and public exposure across Communities, political bloc, Ifoshi ward, Ejigbo LCDA,State and Nigeria at large.

“His simplicity and unwavering efforts in the party and society at large is second to none.Comrade Evang Onyema Nduka  has every needed requirement to back up his call to service,he is the man of the people and a leader per excellence and I know that if he is giving the chance to lead the people of lfoshi,he will do exceptional in terms of governance.

Emeh who is also the Director for Mobilization and contact in the campaign team of Comrade Onyema appealed to the people of Ejigbo, especially Labour Party members to come out enmass as their vote still counts.

” Please as this 2025 local government election is coming up on the 12th of July,l want to appeal to my brother and sisters to come out enmass and support all the LP candidates coming out for this election because our vote still counts. The era of marginalization is gone,if we can win the House of Representatives in Lagos,we can still do it again “she said.

Also speaking, the Director General, Comrade Onyema Campaign team, Comrade Donald Udegbunam noted that for Comrade Onyema to come on board to vie for the position of a Councilorship in Ifoshi ward is to instill his political inputs in the hearts of men.

Having tested leadership at various levels in public domain, church , community, LGA, and state, Hon Onyema in this egalitarian time when leadership is highly needed, his level of reliability , inclusivity, social status , Comrade Onyema Nduka’s personality is needed in his constituency to tackle the political challenges of his constituents head on.

No doubt, as a grassroot politician, Onyema has added more potency and ideology to tackle political bottlenecks in his area if given the opportunity to serve.
