Lagos APC Celebrates The Tinubu Government In Response To “Tinubu Has Stabilised Nigeria’s Economy” – Okonjo-Iweala.
The All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State Chapter, warmly welcomes the recent remarks by Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), acknowledging that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stabilised Nigeria’s economy.
Dr. Okonjo-Iweala, a globally respected economist and a former Minister of Finance, is not given to political flattery. Her statement reflects what discerning observers around the world are beginning to recognize: Nigeria is on a steady path of economic recovery and structural transformation, thanks to the bold reforms and decisive leadership of President Tinubu.
From the outset of his administration, President Tinubu has taken tough but necessary decisions — removing the long-standing fuel subsidy, unifying the exchange rate, and implementing far-reaching fiscal and monetary reforms.
