The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has joined families across Nigeria and around the world to celebrate mothers on the occasion of Mothering Sunday, paying tribute to their enduring love, strength, and immeasurable contributions to society.
In a statement issued on Sunday 15, March 2026,by the Lagos APC Spokesman, Mogaji (Hon.) Seye Oladejo, the party described mothers as the pillars of families and communities whose sacrifices and guidance continue to shape the future of the nation.
The party noted that mothers play vital roles in nurturing homes, instilling values, and raising responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.
According to the statement, beyond their roles within the family, women and mothers have continued to make remarkable contributions in governance, business, education, community development, and grassroots mobilization.
