The Mayor of Isolo,Hon Olasoju Adebayo has sent his goodwill message to a former Commissioner in the State, one time chairman of Ejigbo LCDA and a journalist of high repute,Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan on the auspicious occasion of his 60th Birthday today.
In a release signed by his Chief Press Secretary,Rasheed iskilu,Olasoju joined the family and friends of the leading media practitioner in returning all adoration to almighty God for seeing him through six whole decades of existence noting that not everyone born about the same time as Mr. Bamigbetan enjoys the grace of living till the present day.
He said,”Sharing in the joy of my brother, leader and senior colleague,Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan comes with great delight for me.
“KOK, as fondly addressed by us his admirers, ranks eminently among the political elites that strived to shape our political landscape creditably.
“His diligence and commitment to his job while serving as a media aide to President Bola Tinubu when he served as Lagos state governor couldn’t have been better rewarded than the entrusting of Ejigbo LCDA in his care and having him served in successive state governors’ cabinet afterwards.
“KOK’s prints in Ejigbo shall remain indelible especially given the fact that his successor choice of Alh. Monsuru Oloyede Bello (Obe) built creditably on the good foundation he institutionalised.
“KOK, no doubt, has etched his name in gold as far as journalism is concerned not only on the local front but internationally,”he stated
Hon Olasoju while conveying his prayers,beseeched God to remain kind to the Special Adviser to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development as he wished him success in his future political aspirations.
