Kogi Govt Hails Amupitan’s INEC Appointment.

The Kogi State Government has congratulated Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN) on his appointment as the new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In a press statement, signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo,expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing a son of Kogi State to the position, noting that Prof. Amupitan will uphold the confidence reposed in him.
The government noted that Prof. Amupitan’s appointment is a testament to President Tinubu’s commitment to excellence, merit, and national inclusiveness.
It also highlighted Prof. Amupitan’s illustrious career as a legal scholar, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and respected administrator, which qualifies him for the role.
