The Executive Chairman of lsolo Local Council Development Area, Hon Adebayo Olasoju has refuted series of allegations leveled against him circulating in social media that he has a rift with APC Party Leaders in lsolo and Lagos in general stating that both himself and leaders of the party are united and speaks with one voice.

In a release signed by his media handlers, Olasoju stated that these baseless allegations represent a calculated and orchestrated campaign of character assassination, grounded in falsehoods, designed to mislead the public, stating that the writer wanted to score cheap allegation and use the opportunity to capitalize on how to relaunch his dead journalism career.

The statement reads;”The attention of the media office of Isolo LCDA has been drawn to a malicious write-up published by one Lanre Olaleye, a  younger brother of the immediate past chairman of the council area, Shamsudeen Olaleye over an alleged rift between the council chairman and the leadership of the party.”

“We would not have dignified the series of write-up especially the most recent one titled ‘Isolo LCDA Boss, Olasoju Begs for Forgiveness’ with a response but to set the record straight for members of the public.”

“It became clear that Olaleye was only looking for event to capitalize on to relaunch not only his dead journalism career but also that of his elder brother’s political career as the latter has become almost a persona non-grata since leaving the saddle in 2021”

“For records purposes, there is no issue whatsoever between the Council boss and the party leadership in Isolo and the council boss made this clear yesterday at the LGA meeting held at Ansar-ud-Deen primary school.”.

Hon Olasoju went further to state that the spread of misinformation by the malicious writer was to create discord between the party leaders and his administration, while calling the public and the good people of lsolo to dismiss and ignore any attempts to disrupt the existing peaceful and cordial relationship within the party and lsolo in general.

“Olaleye’s sensationalized reporting of the trivial issue is largely due to his envy of the impenetrable relationship between myself and the party leadership, a relationship his brother did not enjoy.”

“Olaleye needs not be reminded that his elder brother had his time as the council chairman and the records are there about his anti-party activities and gross underperformance which accounted for the huge infrastructural deficits that confronted my administration.

The release went on to say that Hon Olasoju was well received by the party leaders and the mammoth of party faithful who were singing praises of his name and drumming support for his re-election at the LGA meeting held on Thursday 30, January,2025.at Ansari-ud-deen primary school.

The Council Chairman asked the writer of the said publication to bury his head in shame for needing to concoct or sensationalize a weightless issue in order to draw attention to himself, while assuring the people of the LG’s commitment to safeguarding lives and properties, aligning with the policies of Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu.
