The 15-story building that will house the Nigerian Chapter of the Institute of Directors’ corporate office has its foundations laid.
The tower, according to Dr. Ije Jidenma, President/Chairman of Council, Institute of Directors Nigeria, is an audacious and forward-thinking project that balances style, usability, and environmental sustainability.
She spoke on Tuesday during the foundation-laying ceremony for the tower in Ikoyi.
Upon completion, the tower, according to Jidenma, “promises to leave an indelible mark on the city of Lagos, reshaping the skyline and establishing a new standard in corporate and residential architecture.” The IoD Tower is a remarkable symbol of advancement and innovation thanks to its fusion of sophistication, modernity, and eco-consciousness.
“The IoD Tower’s unwavering commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness is one of its distinguishing features,” she continued.
The building has been painstakingly designed to meet and surpass all essential sustainable and environmental certifications.
According to Dr. Olutoyin Okeowo, the Institute of Directors’ Chairman of the Advisory, Technical Committee, the search for a suitable headquarters for the Institute of Directors Nigeria began in 2011.
