Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, is fast-tracking the completion of multiple flagship projects set to be commissioned in a few weeks by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
Investigator news reports that these projects, which span governance, security, healthcare, and road infrastructure, are a testament to Dullar’s vision of transforming Somolu into a modern and thriving hub.
Leading the list is the New Somolu Local Government Administrative Complex, which has already been hailed as “iconic” by members of the Lagos State House of Assembly during their recent visit.
The state-of-the-art complex boasts over 120 offices, including the Somolu Customary Court, Somolu Marriage Registry, and a soundproof multipurpose hall, setting new standards for local governance.

Also nearing completion are the Somolu Legislative Complex, the Somolu Fire Service Station, and the Bashua Police Station. These critical infrastructure projects will enhance governance, improve security, and strengthen emergency response within the community.
Healthcare and education are receiving a major boost with the completion of the Wright Primary Healthcare Center and upgrades to Wesley Primary School, ensuring residents have access to quality medical services and improved educational facilities.
Hon Dullar’s economic vision is further demonstrated through projects like the New Alade Ultramodern Market, key road networks such as Dabira-Emmanuel-Albert Road, and the roads across Kalejaiye, Oyebajo, and Isaac John Streets.
Having distributed N110 million to 4,000 residents and petty traders, with plans to roll out an additional N50 million, Dullar is strategically positioning Somolu for sustainable growth and global recognition.
