The Member Representing Isu State Constituency in the Imo State House Of Assembly, and House Committee Chairman On Labour/Productivity, Civil Service And Pension, Hon Barrister Emeka Ozurumba has called upon the leadership of Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria,PASAN,lmo state chapter to always work in unity,zeal and dedication in order to realize the objectives of lmo State Government and the lmo lawmakers.
Hon. Barrister Ozurumba stated this when he held a meeting at the lmo Concorde Hotel, Owerri,lmo state, on Tuesday 4th June,2024 with leaders and members of the Parliamentary Staff Association as part of its efforts to familiarize with the Assembly Staff Service and Pension
He reiterated his desire, sincerity and commitment to working collaboratively with members of the Parliamentary Staff.
In his words, the vibrant lawmaker said, “Let us work together as a team, we are better off. When we work together, we understand ourselves better, and when we understand ourselves better, we put in more energy, zeal and dedication, to realize both the government objectives and our desire for a better society.”
“I want to assure you that my relationship with your Association will be memorable. I have heard so much about how organized you are, and how you have been relating with the leadership of the House. Hence, the 10th House has achieved a lot in less than one year of its inauguration. You have made our legislative responsibilities to the good people of Imo State a lot earlier. This meeting with you is therefore to say thank you, keep it up, and please don’t relent”.he stated
In his remark, the Chairman of PASAN, IMHA Chapter, Mr Chukwuma Anya thanked Hon Ozurumba for recognizing and interfacing with members of the Association
Anya went further to thank the lawmaker for his generosity, while assuring the lawmaker of the Association’s willingness to cooperate with him to ensure his Committee On Labour/Productivity, Civil Service And Pension achieves its objectives.
The PASAN Chairman,also known as Nwokememe applaud the tenacity of the Clerk and Head of Administration in the person of Chinelo Adaora Emeghara, Esq,who he described as one who has demonstrated to the association that she is a total leader, mother, teacher, administrator and a disciplinarian to the core, noting that they will work with the lawmakers,Nwokememe stated
The meeting was attended by members of the PASAN Executive which include Comrade Samuel Ofoegbu, HOD (Sampam),Comrade Ikechukwu Ugochukwu, South-East Representative,Comrade Onyeachusim,Comrade Casmir Okorocha,Comrade Geraldine,Comrade Helen Emerge and Comrade Ben Kwadobi.
