IBA LCDA Hosts Community Medical Practitioners,Midwives On A 3 -Day Seminar,Training Workshop

Iba Local Council Development Area, department of Primary Health Care has successfully concluded a three-day seminar and training for association of community traditional midwives, faith based and traditional medical practitioners in Iba LCDA which took place from 28th to 30th May, 2025 at the Council secretariat hall.
The Seminar and training is another testament to the Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (Abila) led administration’s commitment to promoting the wellness of mother and child and quality health generally with the theme”Community partnerships for health, strengthening collaboration for better maternal and child health’
Investigator news reports that participants from across Iba LCDA engaged in an interactive training and discussion in discharging their services and duties particularly to sensitive patients like mothers and children without complications to decrease mortality rate.

At the end of the training, each participant went home with a blood pressure monitor machine to aid their respective service delivery.
In attendance at the presentation ceremony were the executive chairman of Iba LCDA, Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (Abila); Vice Chairman, Hon. Samuel Ayodele Thomas; Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Taiwo Adekanmbi.
Others are the Council Manager, Mr Babalola Michael; Supervisor for Health, Hon. Ajanaku Saheed; Supervisor for WAPA, Hon. Ronke Manuwa; CPS to the Chairman, Hon. Saheed Tijani; MoH, Iba LCDA Health Centre, Dr Khadijat Oreagba; SSA to the Chairman on Sports, Mr Sisei Berezi; Health Workers and Nurses.
