In his continued belief and support for African traditional religion, the Mayor of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo, has rejoiced with the Paramount Ruler of Isolo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Isa Abiodun Olakunle Adejuwon Faronbi-Shekoni Mobadenle Arolagbade III, on the occasion of this year’s Ìṣẹ̀ṣé Day Celebration.
Olasoju described the day as a moment to pause and specially acknowledge and celebrate our tradition, culture, and proud heritage as Africans and descendants of Oduduwa, particularly.
“I’m thrilled to rejoice with our paramount ruler and royal father, the custodian of our rich culture and tradition, His Royal Majesty Oba Isa Abiodun Olakunle Adejuwon Faronbi-Shekoni, on this joyous day of Ìṣẹ̀ṣé Celebration.
Africanism is our true identity; it’s our culture and way of life. May I, through our Royal father, extend my regards to worshippers of various gods and deities for their enduring efforts in preserving our heritage and seeing to its promotion.

“As a government, we will continue to lend our unwavering support to the sustenance and promotion of our indigenous culture and religion. Beyond the festivity, Ìṣẹ̀ṣé is a reminder of the values that bind us as a people, respect for the divine, and pride in our heritage.
“We shall continue to encourage interfaith harmony, while ensuring that traditional worshippers enjoy equal recognition and respect as adherents of sister faiths,” Olasoju assured.
The Mayor went further to pray for peace, prosperity, and growth in Isolo Kingdom and Lagos State at large, urging all residents to uphold values that strengthen communal bonds and preserve the legacies of our forebears.
He concluded by admonishing all worshippers to go about their celebrations within the ambit of morality and modesty.
