In a bold initiative aimed at fostering civic engagement and promoting democracy,Hon. Seyi Jakande, Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has launched additional free online voter registration centers to increase access to the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) voter registration exercise.
Investigator news reports that this thoughtful move is designed to simplify the registration process for the people of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye, ensuring that every eligible citizen has the opportunity to make their voice heard
The newly designated centers include Kosybeth Primary School in Ilupeju,St. Martin’s Primary School on Damegoro Street,APC Party Secretariat on Ayantunga Street,Majolate Primary School on Kayode Street in Onipanu,24 Adegbite Street in Idi Oro and Kajola Health Centre (PHC).
Investigator news gathered that each center is equipped to facilitate free online voter registration, making it easier than ever for residents to obtain their voter registration cards without any cost.
Hon. Jakande emphasized the importance of participating in the electoral process, stating that providing these free registration centers empowers citizens to engage actively in democracy.
He assured residents that the services are free, reinforcing his dedication to serving the community and making democracy accessible to all.

It will be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) commenced a nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise on August 18, 2025, with online pre-registration, while in-person registration began on August 25, 2025.
The exercise aims to expand the voters’ register ahead of future elections.
