The Mayor of Isolo, Olasoju Adebayo has lit the torch of 87th birth anniversary of a political juggernaut; a distinguished member of the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), Lagos State, High Chief Muraina Akanbi Taiwo today.
In a press statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary Mr Rasheed lskilu, Olasoju appreciated God Almighty in the life of the Sakosi of Egbaland for His benevolence and the grace that has sustained him thus far.
Hon Olasoju praised Chief M.A. Taiwo as an uncommon political icon whose impact has been felt across generations. Revered for his unwavering commitment and exemplary leadership, adding that the Ajaguna of Igbore has been a cornerstone in shaping the political landscape of Southwest by way of his active participation in Lagos State politics.
He went further to note that Chief M.A. Taiwo’s contributions extend beyond mere political engagement but he embodies a deep-seated dedication to the advancement of Isolo LCDA and Lagos state as a whole.
“The role Chief Taiwo has played in the All progressives Congress (APC) as well as his caucus leaning – The Mandate Movement and beyond,his tireless efforts and strategic acumen, have not only guided the teeming members but also inspired countless individuals to pursue their own paths in public service.”
“Baba’s legacy of integrity and visionary leadership remains a beacon for aspiring leaders and it’s on this note that I, on behalf of my family, the government and people of Isolo LCDA, heartily rejoice with him as he agelessly inches closer to a nonagenarian status” the statement read in part.
Olasoju concluded by wishing the Baba Adeen of Igbore-Abeokuta Central Mosque continued grace, sound health, and joy as he prayed that his presence and divine wisdom will keep lighting the paths of many for the betterment of Isolo LCDA and Lagos state at large.
