The former Lagos State House of Assembly member, Hon Jude Chukwuemeka Idimogu, has congratulated Hon. Mojisola Meranda on her emergence as the new Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Idimogu who made this known on Wednesday, described the new speaker as “a round peg in a round hole”,stating that her emergence as the Lagos House speaker marks another milestone in the history of Lagos State House of Assembly.
“As Lagosians celebrate the first female speaker, it is our prayers that God in whom we are serving continues to furnish her with more wisdom and understanding to pilot the affairs in the House and beyond”

Investigator news reports that Hon Mojisola Meranda is the first female speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, representing the good people of Apapa Constituency 1, and was previously the Deputy speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
