The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Lateef Ashimi, has issued a passionate call for intensified collaboration between parents, teachers, and the community to significantly improve student confidence and discipline across schools in the domain.
Hon. Ashimi made this appeal when he received the forum at the helm and was also honoured with an Excellence Award for his utmost dedication to educational growth as the first youthful chairman of Somolu.
According to him,”We must collectively work to build a supportive environment where every child feels seen, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
“Also, discipline is the foundation upon which academic excellence is built,”he said.
He went further to urge the forum’s recipients drew from different regions to maintain consistent, positive, and firm guidance.
He also assured them of inclusivity and a commitment to cater for their requests. The team also lauded the Chairman Emeritus, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu (Dullar), who left a positive legacy in educational strides.
In another development,the Chairman also welcomed Alhaji Tajudeen Bidmus and his members from Obanta Mile12 Central Mosque.
The discourse ended with praises and prayers following the mark of the 100-day in office.
