Gunmen kill community vigilante in Delta
Gunmen shot and killed Wilson, a member of the vigilante group at the First Marine Gate quarters in the Delta State local government of Warri South, early on Monday.
A gunfight between the shooters and the neighbourhood vigilante team is said to have taken place, however some of the vigilante team’s members were forced to flee because of the attackers’ greater weaponry.
Wilson, one of the vigilantes, was killed as a result of the invaders’ gunfire.
The incident’s specifics are vague, but as of the time this report was being written, the deceased’s covered-in-white-cloth corpse remained by the roadside at the scene of the incident for a number of hours in the morning.

As of the time this story was filed, DSP Bright Edafe, the public relations officer for the state command, was unable to be reached for comments on the event since messages and calls placed to his mobile phone went unanswered. – #Metro #News
