In a significant boost to the Lagos State tourism industry, the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) has endorsed the Destination Lagos Awards and Ojuibile Eko Beauty Pageant.
The endorsement was announced over the weekend, marking a major milestone for the events.
Investigator news reports that FTAN’s President, Mr. Nkereuwem Onung, played an active role in ensuring the events’ endorsement, recognizing their potential to promote Lagos State’s rich cultural heritage and tourism attractions.
Mr. Onung’s leadership and support were instrumental in securing the endorsement, which is expected to lend credibility and support to the events.

He went further to state that Eko Destination Ltd is aimed to promote Lagos State’s tourism industry through innovative events and initiatives, noting that the Destination Lagos Awards and Ojuibile Eko Beauty Pageant are scheduled to take place later this year, with preparations already underway.
