The Eze Ndigbo of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos state,Eze Sunday Augustine Ojukwu,Eze Udo ll has be recognized for his valued contributions and unrelenting efforts towards humanitarian projects in promoting peace,love and unity in Amuwo Odofin and lagos in general.
The Award was conferred on Eze Ojukwu as Global Peace Ambassador by the Music Africa Awake Foundation (MUAFA)
The foundation through its Director for Media, Ambassador Bob lkediala stated that Eze Ojukwu has remained doggedly peaceful and progressive since his emergence on the throne as Eze Ndigbo of Amuwo Odofin after the demise of HRH late Dr Godian Dimojiaku (Eze Udo ll)
He went further to state that the award and recognition came as a result of a selfless and sacrificial lifestyle of the traditional leader and other humanitarian services he had rendered to people within and beyond his immediate environment.

“He is being honored with this high status award to compliment his much valued contributions and unrelenting efforts towards humanitarian projects in promoting peace, love and unity as a Peace Ambassador in Amuwo Odofin local government.”he stated.
Also speaking,the Founder and CEO of Music Africa Awake Foundation, Prince Emeka Ojukwu opined that Eze Augustine Ojukwu is a man who preaches peace and love peace. He noted that since the assumption as Eze Ndigbo of Amuwo Odofin,he has continually ensure that peace remains the watchword of Ndigbo and other ethnic groups in Amuwo Odofin and has also demonstrated it through his philanthropy and humanitarian services to individuals.
He went further to state that the hardship and turbulence in Africa today is caused by bad leadership linked to various vices that have bedevilled African countries through the leaders imposed on individual by the same colonial masters who are still influencing the government through loans and aids.
Responding the Eze Udo ll said the awards meant more responsibilities for him and more service delivery to the people under his rulership.
“First, I acknowledge the Almighty God who is the King of kings. I need more composition, more focus, and determination to touch more lives positively. With God on my side; good health, wisdom, and knowledge are assured.”
” I never knew that what l was doing, which is to the glory of God almighty is being watched by people and today individuals from different countries decided to come to my little palace to recognize me today”
“My major tasks are to ensure there is peace among the Igbos, the Yorubas, the Hausa, and other tribes within my coverage. Without peace, there would be no progress, so we must ensure there is unity, truth, and progress for everyone and with my new assignment as Global Peace Ambassador,God almighty will help us to achieve this goal.
In the same vein,the Chairman Council of Chiefs in the palace of Eze Ndigbo of Amuwo Odofin,High Chief Ik Onyemachi was also bestowed with the Global Peace Ambassador Award.
According to Pastor Ambrose Onyekachi, High Chief Onyemachi is a promoter of peace, unity and love in Amuwo Odofin and lagos state at large
He said,” Our battle is not against any system but simply a move to redefine the image of Africa and Africans as far as world is concerned and therefore we encourage everyone to play his or her individual roles in achieving this singular objective”
High Chief Onyemachi (Ochiagha) who was surprised with the award, said that with the new award he will continue to preach peace and use his office to continually restore peace among the lgbos and other ethnic groups in Amuwo Odofin and lagos at large.
” By virtue of my name Ochi war,l never knew that this people have been watching me, knowing fully well that l am a man of peace and l love peace and love, they decided to honor me today. I am grateful to them and l promise that l won’t relent in promoting peace and unity in Amuwo Odofin and lagos at large.”he submitted
