The Executive Chairman of Odi-Olowo/ Ojuwoye LCDA,Hon. Seyi Jakande,received accolades at the annual Eyo Adamu Òrìṣà Festival held at the Tafewa Balewa Square in Lagos for carrying on the legacy of his father, the late Alhaji Lateef Jakande, Nigeria’s first civilian Governor of Lagos State.
The festival celebrated individuals who have advanced Lagos State’s growth and development, with special tribute to Alhaji Lateef Jakande’s contributions to governance and nation-building and Seyi Jakande was praised for embodying his father’s ideals of equity, discipline, and service to the masses.
Speakers and dignitaries at the event praised his commitment to equity, discipline, and service to the masses, highlighting his purposeful leadership and dedication to cultural preservation.
His initiatives as chairman were described as a reflection of Lateef Jakande’s transformative governance in education, empowerment, Sports, and social welfare.
