Aarebirin Hon Princess (Dr)Folashade Olabanji-Oba, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has emphasized the importance of empowering young people, particularly girls, to ensure a brighter future for Nigeria.
She made this call while speaking with newsmen,during the Lagos State APC Women Summit, themed “Arise, Aspire and Ascend,” held in Ikeja, Lagos.
Princess Olabanji-Oba stressed that building the youth is everyone’s responsibility, helping them understand their importance as future leaders.
Olabanji-Oba who is the Global Director General Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement(ADAM) emphasized that investing in young people, especially girls, would guarantee a safer and greater Nigeria.

“This event is about catching them young and inspiring the girl-child to ensure Nigeria becomes one of the greatest nations on earth. We are well-endowed — God has blessed us,” Olabanji-Oba stated.
The immediate Past President Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria ( ALGONVC) and Executive Vice Chairman Ikorodu LGA, Lagos State went further to commend the APC women’s leadership for their efforts and urged them to continue their good work, saying, “There is a reason we say Lagos leads and other states follow.”
Olabanji-Oba also praised the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that his vision and dedication to the country justified his selection by party members over other aspirants.
