By Segun Oye
Alhaji Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello (Obe), the Executive Chairman Ejigbo LCDA, Lagos is still working relentlessly barely a few weeks to the end of his tenure, which is a testament to governance as he has been acting in a position of trust and responsibility for the benefits of his constituents
Investigator news reports that many social welfare programs and public infrastructures, like durable interlocked roads, public education and healthcare, are palpably felt as part of the social contract he signed with Ejigbo LCDA, reflecting the government’s obligation to care for its citizens.
Investigator news also gathered that Hon Bello has fulfilled electoral promises in the best interest of the people of Ejigbo at large, such as the hitherto eyesore of Ajiboye street that was previously defaced by gully erosion which is now facelifted and social economic activities are now restored in order.
Speaking on behalf of the community,a stakeholder, Alhaji Omotosho appreciated, prayed and thanked the Executive chairman for keeping his promise to the community.

For Alhaji Sheik Lias popularly called Rainbow,he noted that link road in Jakande Estate is a marvelous and sumptuous job to behold, to the credit of the council Boss as interlocking (paving stones) spanned over 500mm by length, and 8.7mm (width) on the average.
Jubril Olabisi road is also one amongst major link roads in Ejigbo which connects Idimu road, and to the other end, it also connects Dauda Ilo, NNPC depot, Canoe Axis to Ajao Estate.
The community members and motorists are full of ecstasy and it’s pertinent to announce that it’s a done deal, and shall be open sooner than later for optimal use.
Also other projects are also on top of his mind to be executed before the end of his tenure in a few weeks’ time.
Alhaji Monsurudeen Bello’s time in office has not only transformed our LCDA in visible ways but has also raised the bar for what leadership should truly represent, most interestingly in the grassroots which encompasses Herculean tasks
His track record so far, is not just about physical infrastructure—it is about responsible governance, and sustainable development.
It’s a common phenomenon that a few months to the exit of a tenure, political office holders in the helms of affairs often relax their efforts, but contrary to this popular opinion, Ejigbo council boss has not rested on his oasis.
The council Boss (Obe) therefore, emphasized – seizing every opportunity appealing to all public facilities and roads users in Ejigbo to take ownership, pay their taxes and place more priority on maintenance culture, “as such, subsequent government will further compliment and add more values to the existing ones”. – His words
