It was truly a remarkable and unforgettable evening as the Idera Oluwa De Foundation and the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA,Aare Tahoeed Adebayo Taiwo hosted a historic Iftah and inspiring Ramadan lecture filled with faith, unity, and deep reflection on Saturday 21, February 2026.

The event which took place at his residence brought together Muslim faithful, Prominent personalities including the Vice Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA,Hon Mrs. Abimbola Nicholas-Ike, an exceptional woman and devoted Christian,who was clad in a hijab-like attire for spiritual reflection and enlightenment

Others include the Vice Chairman of Isolo LCDA,Hon Shakirudeen,APC Party stalwart, members of the legislative council led by Hon Taiwo Idowu, (Deputy leader) members of the NURTW led by Comrade Nurudeen among others,as the atmosphere was calm, beautiful, and spiritually uplifting,a moment where hearts connected, prayers were shared, and hope was renewed.

The Grand Chief Imam of Ejigbo, Alhaji Sanni delivered an insightful lecture that enlightened participants on the significance of promises in Islam and their impact on daily lives.
Sanni emphasized that the holy month of Ramadan is a period of spiritual reflection and growth, and it is essential for Muslim faithfuls to re-examine their commitments and promises to Allah and to humanity.

The renowned scholar with Lagos State University opined that the Iftah was not just about breaking fast; it was about strengthening bonds, promoting peace, and reminding us of the values of Ramadan, compassion, generosity, and service to humanity.
He thanked the Executive Chairman for organizing the Ramadan lecture as it will help in promoting unity, peace and harmony within the community.

The Executive Chairman,Aare Tahoeed Adebayo Taiwo(TAT) while welcoming the participants urged Muslims to cultivate fear of God, patience, and unwavering faith in Almighty Allah.
He also cautioned against impatience and the temptation to compromise faith in the pursuit of material wealth, reminding attendees that true prosperity and fulfillment are divine blessings granted by Allah alone.

The Executive Chairman who did not only host the highly revered but opened his table and heart to the vulnerable, the overlooked, and the voiceless in the community as men and women, Christians and Muslims alike, thronged his residence on the said evening, their faces radiant with joy and gladness, like sunlight piercing clouds after a storm.
Speaking with Investigator news,the Chief Imam stated that the core message of the Ramadan is for Muslims including the citizens and leaders to fear God so that the community would be a better place.

“It is because many individuals lack the fear of God, that is why so many things is affecting us in this society.”
” Let us use this period of Ramadan to return back to almighty God,I urge every individual to be God fearing, having it at the back of their mind that whatever they do be it good or bad, they will receive their reward ” he stated.

Lending his voice, the branch Chairman of Nigeria Union of Road Transport Workers Ejigbo/Isolo, Branch D, Comrade Nurudeen Oladijobi applauded the Executive Chairman for bringing up an initiative which is commendable as it will bring peace, unity, togetherness and oneness.
Comrade Nurudeen went further to emphasized that righteousness and piety should not be limited to the holy month of Ramadan but should be a continuous practice in daily life.

He urge them to uphold the values of honesty, integrity, and compassion, and making a positive impact in their community.
