EID-EL-MOULUD: Somolu Chairman Hon Salawu “Dullar” Advocates For Religious Tolerance And Unity.

The Somolu Local Government Chairman, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, has warmly congratulated Muslims on the celebration of Eid-el-Moulud, encouraging them to embody the values of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Hon Salawu in a release signed by his Chief Press Secretary,Alhaji Owolabi ‘Ajimomuya’ Oseni stressed the importance of religious tolerance, urging Muslims to follow the Prophet’s example of kindness, respect, and compassion towards all people, regardless of their religious background. He emphasized that Prophet Muhammad’s teachings of peace and coexistence remain relevant today.
He noted that tolerance is key to fostering unity and harmony within communities, especially in a diverse society like Nigeria.
The Chairman called on all Muslims to use this occasion to reflect on the Prophet’s life and apply these values in their interactions with others.
Dullar went further to commend the Muslim faithful in Somolu for their dedication to peaceful coexistence, urged them to continue being ambassadors of love and mutual respect in their communities, while highlighting that true spiritual growth comes from embracing differences and working together.
He prayed for peace, unity, and prosperity in Somolu and the entire nation, noting that the message of tolerance and love will continue to inspire positive change in society.
