The Executive Chairman of Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Kareem Azeez Abiodun, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians, urging them to embrace the virtues of love, forgiveness, and compassion as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In his Easter message on behalf of the Executive, Legislative Arm, and Management of Oto-Awori LCDA, Hon. Abiodun described Easter as a season of renewal, hope, and the triumph of life and light over darkness.
He noted that the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of love, redemption, and selfless service to humanity. He encouraged Christians to reflect on these values and allow them to guide their daily interactions and community relationships.
According to the Chairman, the Easter season provides an opportunity for individuals and communities to renew their faith, strengthen bonds of unity, and extend kindness and compassion to those in need.
Hon. Abiodun further prayed that the message of Easter would bring joy, peace, and hope to families across Oto-Awori LCDA and beyond, adding that the season should inspire everyone to promote harmony and goodwill within their communities.
He also expressed hope that the celebration would deepen faith among Christians and fill their hearts with gratitude for the gift of salvation through Christ.
