The former Lagos State House of Assembly member Hon Sir (Dr) Jude Chukwuemeka Idimogu, has congratulated with all the Christians as they celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, urging them to prepare and be willing to make sacrifices for greater unity, peace, tolerance and progress in our beloved country.
Hon Idimogu went further to call on Christians to seize the opportunity of this Easter celebration to reflect deeply on unity, stability and the continues movement of our country towards a better future for all the citizens.
“The major lessons of Easter, which we celebrate today is for us to focus more on God, the author and finisher of our faith, who sacrificed himself on the Cross for the redemption of mankind.
“In him, we shall continue to remain resolute and make sacrifices that would place our country on the upward trajectory”
“We must seize this opportunity of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, to reflect deeply on what more we need to do as a people, to ensure that there is peace and unity amongst ourselves, because there will be no meaningful development in any place where there is rancor and acrimony” Idimogu submitted
