A cleric with the Assemblies of God Church Ejigbo 2 Section,Rev. Dr. Tim Paul, has urged Christians to live in obedience to God’s commandments, stressing that divine blessings are tied to adherence to God’s word.
Speaking during Sunday service under the theme “Spiritual Growth and Revival”with the topic “Divine Blessings”,Rev. Dr. Tim Paul emphasized that believers play a major role in determining whether they experience God’s blessings,emphasizing that believers who fail to experience blessings should examine their level of obedience to God.
“If you are not blessed, you are the cause of it as you did not obey God’s words,” the cleric stated,stressing that God’s promises are not automatic but are activated through faithful obedience.
He anchored his message on Deuteronomy 28:1-13, where God outlines blessings for those who diligently obey His commands.
According to him, the scripture clearly highlights prosperity, protection, elevation, and fruitfulness as rewards for obedience.
Rev. Dr. Tim Paul who is the sectional leader of Ejigbo 2 went further to urge Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and align their lives with biblical principles, noting that consistent obedience leads to lasting breakthroughs and spiritual growth.
He further explained that spiritual growth begins with total submission to God’s will, adding that revival in the lives of believers and the church can only be sustained through consistent obedience and commitment to God’s instructions.
“I want to urged all Christians to remain steadfast in faith, pursue righteousness, and cultivate discipline in their spiritual lives,as divine blessings are not accidental but are results of obedience.”he said
