The late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanw, President General Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide has been described as a symbol of lgbo ldentity,a nationalist and a respected elder statesman.
In a condolence message signed by the Chairperson and Coordinator United Ndigbo in Lagos State, Ugoeze Vivian Sunshine Obi, stated that the death of the lgbo leader came to the people of Ndigbo and South East in general as a shock.
Hon Obi noted that Chief Iwuanyanwu has been a prosperous and prospective leader,one who has brought unity to the lgbo nation, thereby leaving an indelible mark.
The Ohaneze Political Woman leader went further to state that the President General was not just a father to many, but a bridge builder who remained committed to the emancipation of the lgbo nation.
She said “I join other notable Igbo leaders and friends of Igbo nation to commiserate with Ohaneze Ndi-igbo world-wide over the painful news of the demise of our leader and father, the President General of Ohaneze Ndi-Igbo, Chief Engr. Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyawu ,Aha-Eji-Aga-mba Ndi Igbo Gburugburu”
” We never thought of loosing him now because he was hale and hearty but we cannot question God. The entire Ndigbo and South East in general would greatly miss him as he has ensured that lgbos has a foremost priority,his footprints in Ohaneze would remain in our hearts,so on behalf of my family,l want to say goodnight to a great leader and continue to rest in the lord.”she submitted
