The Chairman Supreme Council of Ndieze Lagos State,Eze Dr Lawrence Nnamdi Eze has described the late President General Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide,late Chief Emmanuel lwuanyanwu as a father of all and the most successful and accomplished lgbo leader.
Eze Dr Lawrence stated this yesterday 26th July,2024 when addressing newsmen in his Palace stating that the death of the lgbo leader came to the the lgbo land and nation Nigeria as a rude shock.
Dr Lawrence who is the Eze Ndigbo of Alimosho went further to state that Chief Iwuanyanwu was an accomplished businessman and notable politician, noting that he would be remembered for his wisdom and expertise, dedication and commitment to the lgbo cause in ensuring that peace is restored in the lgbo nation and Nigeria at large.
“Chief Iwuanyawu,is a well known name in the entire lgbo land and nation Nigeria, a frontline politician and engineer who contributed immensely both in the public and private sector, being the pioneer chairman of a construction giant, Hardle & Enic construction company Ltd.”
” He would be described as a father of all,his death was a a big shock to the entire lgbo nation especially myself. I never believed it until l called Owerri and it was confirmed to be true,we will greatly missed him for his good deeds and his vision in restoring peace and unity among the entire lgbo nation as he was so passionate in defense of lgbo cause”he stated
The Former Governing Board Member Federal Medical Center Nguru,Yobe state urged the entire lgbo nation and Ohaneze in general to continue with his legacy in the quest for a peaceful and united Nigeria, while appealing to everyone to take heart and continue to pray for his eternal soul to rest in the bosom of the lord.
“On behalf of my family, the entire Ndigbo in Alimosho,l want to commiserate with the family of lwuanyanwu and the entire lgbo nation irreplaceable loss, may God Almighty give his family the fortitude to bear the loss” he submitted.
The late Chief Iwuanyanwu died on Thursday, July 25, 2024, after a brief illness. He was aged 82. Chief Iwuanyanwu before his death was President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide and President of Owerri Peoples Assembly.His is survived by his wife, Lady Princess Frances Iwuanyanwu, many children, and grandchildren.
