BAUCHI is a town in Japan. With less than two hours to go before the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial primary election in Bauchi state, Al’ameen Sani Mohammed, one of the gubernatorial aspirants, has withdrawn from the race.
This was stated by Al’ameen during a press conference held on Thursday at the NUJ Press Center in Bauchi.
“On behalf of myself and teaming supporters, I wish to formally announce my decision to withdraw from participating in the Bauchi State gubernatorial primary election of our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC),” Al’ameen Sani, a state chieftain of the APC, said.

“My decision to withdraw from this critical election is in the best interests of the party and to foster unity and purpose among the aspirants in the 2022 Governorship Aspirants Forum, which I had the honor of chairing.”
“It is critical to state that my withdrawal from the race is intended to encourage other aspirants to do the same in order to ensure a smooth primary election.”
“As a true member of our great party, I believe I should make the sacrifice of withdrawing from the governorship primaries in 2022 in order to unite the APC in Bauchi State,” he said.
He then assured his supporters that he would keep them up to date on the next political move, ensuring that the best of the remaining candidates would win the party primaries.
