The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) announced on Thursday that Rabiu Kwankwaso, its presidential candidate, has selected Bishop Isaac Idahosa as his running mate as the 2023 election gains momentum.
According to rumours, the NNPP announced it on the official Twitter account of its campaign organisation.
Kwankwaso made this choice after failing to convince Peter Obi, a rival presidential candidate and former governor of Anambra State, to serve as his running mate.
Isaac Idahosa, the bishop, who?
Bishop Isaac Idahosa is the senior pastor of God First Ministry, also known as Illumination Assembly, located at Lekki Light Centre (LLC), Ajah, Lagos. He is an Edo State native. In addition, he is a motivational speaker, author, and gospel singer.
Bishop Idahosa, also known as “Prophet Talk Na Do” by his followers, was born in Minna, Niger State, a region of the north that is predominately Muslim. However, in 1979, he experienced a conversion to Christianity.
