The Executive chairman of Somolu Local government,Hon Abdul Hamed Salawu has extend his warm greetings to all the traditionalist in Somolu and beyond.
The Chairman who stated this signed by the Executive Chairman stated that the lsese festival is a rich heritage and enduring legacy of the Yoruba people, known globally for their spirituality, culture, fashion, lifestyle, and healthcare practices.
According to him,the Yoruba culture is not just a relic of the past but a living, breathing tradition that continues to influence the world, stating that the norms and traditions are well respected and admired globally, and it is our responsibility to preserve and promote them with pride.

Hon ‘Dullar’ went further to commend the Chairman of the Southwest Governors’ Forum and Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for his leadership in declaring a holiday for Isese Day across Southwest states, noting that the initiative is a significant step toward recognizing and honoring our cultural identity.
