The Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria (ATPN) South West Region is poised to launch a new initiative aimed at boosting tourism development in the region.
This decision was made during the monthly meeting of the South West Executive Council (SWEC) held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, attended by state chapters’ chairmen, the Chief of Staff, and the Secretary of the office of Vice President South West.
According to Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon, National Vice President of ATPN South West, the initiative will make tourism in the South West region more appealing.
“We are intentional, so we shall make tourism in the South West region more appealing.” Details of the initiative will be unveiled this Saturday, and stakeholders are eagerly anticipating the announcement.
