Army Arrests 3 Soldiers With 1,000 Rounds Of Ammunitions In Zamfara

Three serving Nigerian soldiers were apprehended with 1000 rounds of ammunition that they planned to sell to terrorists for N1 million.
Soldiers from Zamfara State’s Forward Operations Base (FOB) in Galadi, Shinkafi local government area, were detained for selling ammunition and military uniforms to armed bandits in the state.

Pte Bala Nura, LCPL Ehoda Monday, and LCPL Shehu Muhammad are the soldiers.

According to authorities, the soldier Pte Bala Nura admitted to supplying 100 7.62mm special ammunition to the terrorists for N100,000.

He was also found with 1,000 rounds of the same ammunition, which he promised to sell for N1 million to the gunmen.

When reached, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, the director of army public relations, said he was unaware of the development.
