APGA must take over Abia state government in 2023, according to Rev. Augustine Ehiemere, chairman of the APGA’s Abia state chapter.
He also said that APGA is fortunate to have mobilized the highest caliber governorship candidates before Prof. Gregory Ibe eventually emerged as the party’s nominee for the 2023 governorship election.
Rev. Ehiemere, who made this known at the Uzoakoli Civic Center during a sensitization tour of Bende LGA for the party’s State working committee, urged party members to come together as one and join forces to complete the task at hand.
He emphasized Professor Ibe’s intention to repair and restore Abia state’s glory and urged Bende party members to prepare their PVCs in order to drive out corrupt officials from Abia state in 2023.
“We are on a sensitization tour in Bende LGA, and I am happy with Bende people.
We must take over the state government of Abia in 2023 and change the leadership narratives in Abia, but we must work with love,” he said. We must work together as a team in order to effect change, and we must not let propaganda sow discord among us. Professor Gregory Ibe is traveling to Abia state to rebuild, repair, and restore its glory.
In order to ensure victory in 2023, he praised Bende party supporters and the local government party chairman urged them to coordinate their efforts with all party candidates.
Asserting that “it is a fight that we must win, let nobody sabotage our effort,” the party’s legal adviser, Barrister Chukwuemeka Nwokoro, urged party members to get up and vote to change the narratives in Abia state.
Professor Gregory Ibe will receive 100 percent of the votes from Bende LGA, the State party secretary Ambassador Sunday Onwukwubiri promised in his contribution, and must come first.
He continued by saying that the party’s leadership visited local governments to determine the party’s strength there.
The party’s state working committee visited Bende LGA, and Mr. Peter Azubuike, the LGA’s party chairman, thanked them for coming. He also thanked the residents of Bende for showing up in large numbers despite the short notice.
The presentation of party flag bearers from Bende LGA, Engr. Chibisi Lazrus Mbakwe for Bende Federal Constituency and Barrister Ogbumba E. Ogbumba for Bende North State Constituency, to the people of Bende, and the distribution of party membership cards to the physically challenged people who also assembled in large numbers to welcome the State working committee served as the event’s high points.
