The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC)has celebrated the success of its e-Registration exercise, showcasing the party’s strength and grassroots connection.
In a statement released by the party’s spokesman,Mogaji Oluseye Oladejo stated that with over ten million members registered nationwide, the party is poised for victory in the upcoming elections.
He noted that the exercise demonstrated internal democracy, transparency, and credibility, setting the stage for a united and formidable campaign.
“The successful conduct of the Party’s e-Registration exercise,is a landmark achievement in strengthening internal democracy, party cohesion, and grassroots participation as the nation counts down to the next general elections.”
“The overwhelming turnout and seamless adoption of the digital registration platform clearly demonstrate the growing confidence of Lagosians- and Nigerians at large- in the APC and its progressive ideals.”
“This exercise has not only expanded the Party’s membership base but has also provided a transparent, credible, and verifiable database that reflects the true strength of the APC across wards, local governments, and constituencies.”he said
Oladejo opined that the party’s insistence on valid Voters’ Cards and NIN ensured the integrity of the process.
“This measure ensured the integrity of the process by eliminating the registration of ghost members merely to inflate figures, thereby safeguarding the credibility and authenticity of the APC membership register,the party’s widespread and verifiable membership base speaks to its acceptability, organizational strength, and connection with the grassroots.”
“This achievement gives the party a significant head start, underscoring its readiness and capacity for mass mobilization.”Oladejo stated
The Lagos APC went further to commend party leaders, officials, and volunteers for their dedication, and appreciates members and new registrants for their enthusiasm.
