Anambra 2025:Anambra South Senatorial District Rolls Out Drum For Soludo,Ibezim Re-election

Ahead of the November 8, Governorship election,the Anambra South Senatorial District has overwhelmingly endorsed Governor Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, for re-election in 2025.
This massive show of support was demonstrated at a mega rally held at the Ekwuluobia Township Stadium, where stakeholders from the seven local government areas of Anambra South came together to rally behind Soludo and Ibezim.
The event, dubbed the “Anambra South Mega Rally of Endorsement,” featured thrilling performances and mass affirmations of support for the duo.
The rally’s slogan, “Let the Solution Continue,” underscores the people’s desire for continued progress and development in Anambra State.

In his speech, Governor Soludo expressed his gratitude to the people of south senatorial zone and the entire people of Anambra for their proactive involvement in the campaign, remarking that the support comes even before the official launch of his campaign council.
The Governor also expressed confidence in the APGA Senatorial candidate, declaring that: “A vote for Chief Nwachukwu will ensure the emergence of a Senator who will collaborate closely with the Governor and join the APGA Caucus to implement our policy of working hand-in-hand with the government at the center,” Soludo assured.
Chief Nwachukwu, who received the party flag from APGA’s National Chairman, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, and the State Chairman, Barr. Ifeatu Obiokoye, committed to a campaign anchored on the achievements of the Governor. He emphasized his intention to build upon the solid foundation laid by Governor Soludo.
Support for the candidacy was echoed by prominent figures in the zone, including Dr. Paschal Agbodike, the Member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency, and Hon. Ikenna Ofodeme, Majority Leader at the State House of Assembly.
They were joined by Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Humphrey Anuna, President of the Anambra State Market Traders Association, and Dr. Chibueze Oforbuike, Mayor of Aguata Local Government Area.
Together, they acknowledged the transformative progress Anambra State has witnessed in the last three years under Governor Soludo and expressed their excitement for the re-election of Governor Soludo for another four-year term.
The occasion reached a memorable peak with the conferral of the ‘Oluatuegwu’ chieftaincy title upon Governor Soludo by traditional rulers in that zone, further solidifying his leadership and influence within the community as the campaign gears up for the upcoming election.
