The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has responded to allegations of misconduct made by Mr. Chiemelle Kyriam Offor against its officers in the Iponri area of Surulere on Wednesday, 18th June 2025.
According to the Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, Adebayo Taofiq stated that an internal review was conducted and investigation findings pointed out that there was no records or personnel accounts to corroborate the incident as Mr.Offor failed to provide substantiating details or evidence despite request.
Adebayo went further to state that physical verification revealed that no”Faithview Hospital” exists in the area
He reaffirm LASTMA’s commitment to professionalism and ethical conduct in all operations, noting that the agency emphasizes on transparent public engagement through its toll-free hotline(080000527862) for real-time feedback and complaints and it is dedicated to investigating all credible reports with due diligence
“In the absence of verifiable evidence or actionable details, LASTMA finds no basis to substantiate the allegations. The agency encourages Mr. Offor or any witness with pertinent information to contact its hotline for a thorough and fair resolution.
